Why I Keep MEXC: Zero Fees and Altcoins
I have been trading crypto since 2018. MEXC entered my toolkit in 2022 and stays for one simple reason: 0% fee on limit (maker) spot orders and one of the widest altcoin selections — 2,700+ trading pairs. When I need a new token not yet listed on Bybit, MEXC is my first look. The bonus programme is not the most generous in absolute numbers, but zero spot fees are already a permanent «bonus» compared to 0.1% at competitors. MX Token and Kickstarter: Where MEXC Is Truly Unique
MX is MEXC's native token. It gives a -20% fee discount (MX Deduction), but the main value is not that — it is Kickstarter — a Launchpad equivalent: new tokens at reduced prices before listing. Participation requires holding MX on your account during a specified window. In my experience, strong Kickstarter projects delivered 50–300% ROI at listing. Risk: not every project takes off.
MEXC also lists many new tokens first — if you track new coins, MEXC is often the only option to buy before major exchanges list them.

MEXC is ideal for: hunting new token listings, active spot trading with limit orders at high volume (0% maker), and Kickstarter participation. Not the best first exchange for a complete beginner.
Honest Downsides of MEXC
- P2P less developed. For UAH top-up, easier to transfer USDT from another exchange.
- Welcome bonus smaller in absolute terms than Bybit at the same deposit.
- Higher risk tokens. 2,700+ pairs includes many low-liquidity coins — beginners often buy speculative tokens and lose.
- Support slower than Bybit or Bitget in my experience.
