What I Actually Got from the Bitget Bonus

BGB Token: the Hidden Advantage of Bitget
BGB is Bitget's native token. Holding BGB gives:
- 20% fee discount when paying fees in BGB instead of USDT

- VIP privileges based on BGB balance
In practice: trading spot at 0.1% fee on $10,000/month volume — the 20% discount saves $20 per month. BGB can be bought directly on Bitget spot.
Copy Trading on Bitget vs Bybit
Bitget launched copy trading earlier than Bybit and has a stronger selection in some strategy niches. My comparison:

Honest Downsides of Bitget Bonuses
- 6,200 USDT requires a $50K+ deposit. At $500, realistically expect $45–80 in coupons.
- Coupons are product-specific. Some only apply to futures or only to Earn — if you do not use that product the coupon expires.
- Newcomer Tasks deadline is 14 days — one of the shortest in the market. Miss it and part of the bonus is lost.
Bitget vs Bybit: Which to Choose
Not either-or — I use both. But if you need one exchange:
- Choose Bitget if: you want spot copy trading, are interested in the BGB ecosystem, or your deposit is $100–500 (bonus is proportionally better).
- Choose Bybit if: you have a larger deposit ($1K+), futures trading is your priority, or you want the biggest overall copy trading master selection.
