Honest Downsides of Hyperliquid

- Web3 wallet required. A beginner needs to learn MetaMask, Arbitrum and bridges — 30–60 minutes of entry friction.
- No P2P. Cannot fund with UAH directly. Route: UAH → USDT on Bybit → withdraw → bridge to USDC.
- Derivatives and basic spot only. No copy trading, Earn, or token staking.
- Smart contract risk. DEX always carries code vulnerability risk even with audits.
Who Hyperliquid Suits and Who It Does Not
Good fit if:
- You actively trade futures with $20K+/month volume
- You value no-KYC and full asset control
- You already have Web3 wallet experience
- You trade from multiple jurisdictions and want no account-freeze risk
Not a good fit if:
- It is your first exchange — start with Bybit or Bitget
- You need UAH P2P for funding
- You want copy trading or passive income
- MetaMask and blockchain bridges feel uncomfortable
