My Two Main Exchanges — and I Do Not Pick Between Them
I have been trading since 2018. On Bybit since 2019, on Bitget since 2022. In those years I never needed to "drop" one for the other — they complement each other. Bybit is the foundation: P2P, liquidity, futures. Bitget is the second: spot copy trading, BGB ecosystem, sometimes better conditions for smaller deposits. If you need ONE exchange — here is an honest breakdown of what each is best for.
Quick Pick
Fees: Practically Identical
| Bybit | Bitget | |
|---|---|---|
| Spot base | 0.1% | 0.1% |
| With token discount | 0.1% (no native spot discount token) | down to 0.08% (BGB -20%) |
| Futures maker/taker | 0.02% / 0.055% | 0.02% / 0.06% |
| USDT withdrawal (TRC-20) | ~1 USDT | ~1 USDT |
Verdict: nearly a tie. Bitget wins slightly on spot thanks to the BGB discount if you hold the token.
P2P: Bybit Ahead Here
Both exchanges support UAH P2P with 0% fees. The difference is in seller count and speed. On Bybit, in my experience, trades close in 3-8 minutes even for unusual amounts; on Bitget, 5-15 minutes, with a noticeably smaller seller pool overnight.
For regular UAH top-ups, Bybit is more convenient. For one-off purchases, the difference is not critical.
Copy Trading: Bitget Wins on Spot
| Bybit Copy | Bitget Copy | |
|---|---|---|
| Number of masters | 130,000+ | 100,000+ |
| Spot Copy | limited | ✓ Wide selection |
| Futures Copy | ✓ | ✓ |
| Min subscription | $50 | $50 |
If copying spot strategies (less risky than futures) interests you, Bitget has more quality masters specifically in this category.
Bonuses: Depends on Deposit
What Each Is For: My Personal Setup
- Bybit: main P2P account, active futures trading, first bonus tasks as a beginner.
- Bitget: spot copy trading, secondary account for diversification, BGB for fee discounts on regular trading.
Registering on both does not conflict — bonuses do not exclude each other.
